About Rapport International – translation and interpretation services
I realized that some of you may want to know more about who I am and what Rapport International offers. We’ve been in business since 1987 (almost 20 years). The company offers translation (written word) and interpretation (spoken word) services in over 100 languages. We specialize in the following areas: medical, legal, consumer products, finance, high tech, manufacturing, non-profit and government.
I’m the Executive Director – which means I speak a little of a few languages but I’m not good enough to do the linguistic work. So, I manage the day-to-day operations. I did live in Mexico, Taiwan and the Philippines, major in Foreign Service and get an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth so this position was a natural fit for me.
Most of our translators are fully bi-lingual, have advanced degrees and have been translating for many years.
Our interpreters are fully bi-lingual and have extensive experience in both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting for individuals, groups or conferences.
We were recently accpeted on a GSA contract for government work. Even though that took a year, I think it might have been easier than figuring out how to sell to the Federal government. That’s my job now. Some good news out of the application, Open Ratings conducted a client satisfaction survey – Rapport International received a satisfaction rating of 95 out of 100!
Some of our clients include:
State of Massachusetts, Project Bread, American Cancer Society, The First Years, Neighborhood Health Plan of RI, Grace Chemical, Wellington Management, Thompson Products, Jordan Hospital, Century 21, Providence Center, Lockheed Martin Sippican, EFD, Quaker Chemical, Morgan Lewis & Bockius
If you know of anyone that needs translation services, I’d appreciate a referral! WendyPease@rapportintl.com
